Jessica on set of Sobe Real + new interview
Here are a couple new pics of Jessica on the set of the film she's starring in titled SoBe Real and below is a new interview she did with Las Vegas Weekly magazine:
The Doll domination has ended -- at least for one Pussycat. Breaking out from the litter is pinup perfection Jessica Sutta, who’s on track to become one of the next vocalists pumping through nightclub speakers. Ahead of her Nov. 21 appearance at Revolution (doors at 10 p.m., $20, locals free), we caught up with the former member of The Pussycat Dolls now clawing her way up the charts while staying grounded with charity work.
The first time dance music fans may have become familiar with you by name was on Paul van Dyk’s hit “White Lies.” You’ve also worked with Cedric Gervais and Dave Audé. How did growing up in Miami influence your leaning toward electronic music?
Dance music is huge there, so I grew up loving dance music. That’s actually my first love. That’s what I want to do. Right now, my single “Wanna Be Bad” is being remixed by one of my favorite DJs, Richard Vission. I think his track “I Like That” is probably one of the coolest on radio today.
Besides the DJs/producers you’ve worked with, who are some of your favorites?
I love David Guetta, Afrojack, Deadmau5 and Kaskade. I’ve been wanting to work with Kaskade for years, so hopefully he’ll do some sort of something with me one day. It’s on my wish list. I’ve loved Kaskade forever, even before he was well known. If you know him, give him a call for me!
Now that you’re the one front and center, will you bring some hot male backup dancers with you for your performance at Closet Sundays?
Absolutely! I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve. Of course, the gays are my favorite, and I love my hot boys, so I’m going to have to have them around me.
When can we expect your full album?
My full album will be coming out in the spring. I am planning on possibly releasing my second single in January. Right now I’m in the studio, going to Europe next month and then back here working diligently on my album.
You said “my alter ego” is the theme for the album. So what’s your alter ego like?
She’s daring, she’s adventurous, she likes to be bad, kind of play a lot more. Me, Jessica, I’m a little bit more shy when you know me, but when the alter ego comes out to play, especially onstage or in the studio, she’s a lot of fun.
Any PCD drama rumors you want to dispel?
I don’t know, I mean there’s always a lot of rumors, you never know what’s true and what’s not true. All I know is that being in The Pussycat Dolls was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I love each of the girls, and I’m looking forward to a reunion tour for our fans because that’s all that matters.
Is a reunion tour something that’s in the works right now?
It’s not in the works now, but I think that would be really cool if we did that.
You sang lead on the PCD song “If I Was a Man." So what else would you do that wasn’t in the song if you were a man?
I’d have, like, a thousand hot chicks around me (laughing) -- I don’t know. I love being a woman so much because I feel it’s so powerful to be a woman. I don’t know if I’d ever want to be a man -- I’d like to have a man, though, you know what I’m saying (laughing)? I need a hot man who looks like, I don’t know, Brad Pitt.
E! kind of twisted a story to seem like you were homeless and living under a bridge after you broke your rib while performing with PCD.
Oh, God. I know.
What do you think about how mainstream media have portrayed certain points in your career?
My whole family for 24 hours watched the E! thing and were like, “What do you mean you’re homeless?!?” I’m like, “It’s for the story! It had nothing to do with what was happening in the story at all!” It’s kind of how people sell stories or whatever. I was looking at Life & Style the other day, and Kendra said she left Hank. I’m like, “They broke up?!? I’m so upset!” But when you read the article, it’s not the case at all. I feel like if anyone has any questions, they can come to me directly, and I will tell them the honest truth. Here I am. I wasn’t homeless. I drive a Porsche. We’re good! (laughing)
Looking at your Facebook, you have a few tattoos. Is that yours that says “banana”?
No, that’s my best friend. Me and my best friend Jana, “Jana Banana,” she got a tattoo when I got my “pinup” tattoo. We both got the same anchor on our left wrist.
The pinup one is a reference to your love of Vargas girls and classic female icons, right?
Oh, yeah, that’s my favorite.
What are your other tattoos?
I have the word “doll” on my ankle, I got it with [PCD members] Ashley, Kimberly and Melanie. I forgot where we were on tour, but we all went and got tattoos together. That was a really cool experience.
Do you have any time off in Vegas and anything you look forward to doing here?
Vegas is a lot of fun. It’s a lot of energy at once, it’s like tiring, but it’s a blast. … I don’t know how much time off I’ll have, but I would like to catch the Cher show. I saw her on David Letterman promoting Burlesque. I want to see that show.
You’ve also been doing some important charity and awareness work. Can you explain its focus a bit more?
Unfortunately, I just attended my friend’s daughter’s funeral. Her name is Sarah Fearing; she was 17. I started the Sarah Fearing Foundation. ... There’s a really big problem because a lot of teenagers are smoking heroin right now, and it’s killing our teens. … With peer pressure and all that, there’s no place for these kids to go or feel like it’s normal not to do [drugs]. So we’re going to do whatever we can with this foundation.
Is your Facebook or blog better for finding out what you’re up to?
“The Official Jessica Sutta Facebook.” There’s like 50 of them (laughing), but there’s one that’s mine. I update that all the time. And then Twitter, @IAmJessicaSutta. I’m addicted to my Twitter.

Jessica interview with Starry Constellation Magazine
Heres a recent interview that Jessica did with Starry Consellation Magazine talking more about her single I Wanna Be Bad
Q. How would you describe your sound, style, and tone?
A. Fun Pop music.
Q. You have a song out now called "I Wanna Be Bad," where did the inspiration for the song come from?
A. The inspiration came out of the decadence, darkness and joke of Hollywood. To me, there's no better place to express your fantasies than thru music. Its like my alter ego gets to come out and play.
Q. What do you think it is about the song and your music that will hook in listeners?
A. I think everyone has a little dark side to them and want to be a little bad sometimes.
Q. How much hand in the production of your music and songs do you have?
A. I wrote "I Wanna Be Bad." I have a hand in all my music. I love everyone that I've worked with. I also relate to each and everyone of my songs. As if the universe is handing them to me to express my personal life whether its love, fantasy or sadness.
Q. Where can those interested go to listen or download the song?
A. Itunes and Amazon.com.
Q. How can fans help out with the promotion of your music?
A. Spreading the word out on their Twitters, Myspace and Facebook pages! Everything is viral!
Q. How important are social networking sites like Twitter, Myspace and Facebook with not only the promotion of albums and music, but also connecting with your fans?
A. Incredibly important. Not only can I reach out to one market I can reach fans all over the world. That's the beauty of social media it goes globally!!
Q. For those interested, where can they go online to learn more about you and keep up with your upcoming appearances and gigs?
